It's pretty amazing how everyone comes together to make a full musical in only 2 weeks. Today, the kids are off book on their lines--they are not supposed to carry scripts on stage anymore. Jon, our Co-Op High School lighting intern, is adding light cues to the scenes. Ms. Alexander ordered two special gobos just for this play. A gobo is a metal cutout that we use in theater to create a pattern on the stage. See if you can spot one of them in the pictures below! Ken E., one of our musical campers, has taken an interest in lighting, and has been sitting with Jon watching him write cues (when Ken isn't in the number they're working on onstage).
In other important news, our Annie costume arrived today! Selam was so excited, she tried it on over her clothes. It fits perfectly!
