We wanted to get some feedback from Ms. Nelson about the camp so we decided to interview her today.
Interviewer: How do you feel that your first year of being a Camp Director has gone?
Ms. Nelson: It’s been the best experience that I’ve had as a teacher or camp director. I like being able to help the other teachers and campers.
Interviewer: Is there anything you’ve learned while being a camp director?
Ms. Nelson: I’ve learned to be exceptionally organized. In a camp there are many moving parts so you have to be really organized.
Interviewer: How do you feel about the kid’s work that you’ve seen?
Ms. Nelson: Watching the campers make art is the best part of camp, it’s a profound experience.
Interviewer: Did you change in any way during camp?
Ms. Nelson: I haven’t really changed that much just become my better self so I could rise to the challenge of being a camp director.
Interviewer: You’ve given many pieces of advice to the kids throughout camp, what parting advice would you give them as they leave here?
Ms. Nelson: I only hope that the campers leave with the thought to always be kind and work hard which has been our motto here. Also they should know that art can always be used as a way for them to express themselves.
