Camp Staff
Kjerstin Pugh, Camp Director
In addition to being the Education & Outreach Program Manager for the Shubert Theater/CAPA, Ms. Pugh is the After School & Summer Program Manager at Co-Op High School and Director of the Shubert Summer Camps at Co-Op. She oversees the curricular development and daily operations of the Shubert Theater & Arts Camp and the Shubert Musical Theater Camp. (If you have called about camp, you have most likely spoken with her!)
During the school year, Pugh runs Co-Op After School, which offers Co-Op High School students dozens of high quality after school programs per semester. Pugh also coordinates events and programs for Co-Op and the Shubert Theater with partners that include Dwight Hall at Yale and Yale University. Pugh graduated with a B.A. in Urban Studies and Writing from New School University. She has worked for several nonprofits in New York City and Pittsburgh, PA and was an AmeriCorps VISTA member.

Kelly Wuzzardo, Director of Education
As Director of Education and Outreach Initiatives, is responsible for overseeing and implementing the numerous education programs run by CAPA. A significant amount of that job entails fulfilling CAPA’s contract with the New Haven Board of Education to manage the art spaces at Co-Op High School. Kelly provides technical support to the school as well as managing the rentals of those spaces. Other education programs include Movin’, Art in Action and the Shubert Theater &Arts Summer Camp.
Kelly graduated with a BA in theater from Converse College in 1995. Though she has done everything from acting to lighting design, the main focus of her career in theater has been stage and production management. She stage managed children’s theater for 4 years, and has taught all over the country in residencies funded through the Department of Education. She has worked with theater companies across the country, including The Spartanburg Little Theater, Creede Repertory Theater, Cleveland Signstage Theater, Bad Epitaph Theater, Charenton Theater Company, Cain Park, and The Cleveland Play House.

Christi Sargent, Director of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown"
Ms. Sargent has been teaching at Coop for six years. She has previously directed the musicals Broken Chains and The
Wiz. Sargent received a B.A. from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY.
